I wish you'd pay more attention to detail, and wouldn't just scribble and call it an "artistic style," but hey, fans are always weird.

The diagonal lines gave it a sense of energy, but the fact that you didn't erase the base head shape made it come off as just weird.

I tried to make it so the artwork in "Cooljaw" fit in the context of the story,
If you take a look at shark, the art is similar but the lines are cleaner.

I digress, I can understand your criticism, in the not too distant future I'll be releasing some of my other artwork, I hope you come back and take a look at that stuff as I feel it may be more to your liking.

[Fantasy Elf w/out Background]

better than usual

a vast improvement over most shit you upload, but it still has nitpicky flaws here and there. That right arm is waaaay too high for archery, or at least it's too far-back for what it is. The hair looks bizarre as usual, but today it looks like a mottled wolf pelt dregged and dusted from a swamp. The right leg is warped a bit, and the piece as a whole seems to be lacking flow or direction. The hair goes one way and the necklace goes another? while the tail thing goes a different way altogether?

It's good to see you don't always draw absolute shit, and you really ought to draw more like this.

So why don't you fix it? Why have you been doing the exact same shit for the past few years?

As far as this piece is concerned, it is ridiculously bogged with rudimentary mistakes. The shadow is aimed towards the viewer, but there's shine on her hair. If she was sitting in front of a light source, wouldn't the shading on her react more differently? the piece would have a darker tone if that were done.

Also, her hands don't connect properly. It's like you drew the arm and just did one single line to draw the hand. Her hipbone apparently doesn't exist, and she must be part giraffe with a neck like that. Also, she seems to have some swollen alien brain with that kind of head structure.

The artistic stylings on this are half-decent, and the subject matter shouldn't be something I should be screaming over.

I do notice you have a huge-ass negative space rim around the image, and the distancing between the subjects delivers nothing to the piece as a whole.

Overall, it's just a little less than half-decent, hence this score.

I saw his Deviantart a while back. He actually took this piece and slightly altered it so he'd look like he had half-closed eyes and a weak smile instead of that stupid mongol grin he always has.

But to be fair, wish fulfillment is rampant on DA. Good job on this piece, sorry if I'm rambling off-subject.

You need to learn how hair works. Maybe yours is greasy and clumps together, but most hair I see doesn't act like a cape.

Tip of the iceburg, though. There's all kinds of shit wrong with this, not to mention there's no real concept of space or background in this. This is a sketch, not a finished picture.
